[back to top] Summary
We don't know Isham Jones. We've never met his orchestra, either. However, Elliott Yamin covered his classic "It Had To Be You" during AI5's highly-rated Great American Songbook episode. (Most people know it from Casablanca, but in fact Jones had written it almost 20 years earlier.) Jones, who died in 1956, also wrote the standard "I'll See You In My Dreams."
